I understand that Firefox has been standards compliant for much longer, and thought it was appropriate to note that IE is finally catching up. It's also worthwhile to note that Firefox 2 does substantially better than the IE 8 beta on Acid 3, and I'm sure the Firefox 3 betas run circles around IE 8. I’m not trying to say that it makes IE in any way better than Firefox.
